MST3K Obscurities
If you're a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you know the pleasure that comes when you get an obscure joke that no one else in the room understands. Unfortunately, unless your knowledge of pop culture and Americana is as encyclopedic as that of the Best Brains writers, there are probably far more references that go sailing right over your head.
The purpose of this site is to pool our resources as fans and develop a database of all those obscure references and what they mean—and why they're funny, if possible. If you've ever been watching an MST3K experiment and wondered, “What the heck did that mean?” feel free to add your own obscure riffs here; and please explain any obscure riffs that you can.
